InfoGears introduces PowerPAQ high-performance hosting architecture

InfoGears, Inc. a provider of online solutions to manage business, today announced the introduction of a new high-performance network architecture for shared hosting called PowerPAQ. PowerPAQ's Web hosting services set new standards for reliability, security, performance and value.

The PowerPAQ Hosting Architecture was designed by PowerPAQ engineers to bring a new level of reliability and performance to Web hosting, according to PowerPAQ Chief Technical Officer Rusty Conover.

"Up to now, many small and medium business customers have had to choose between reliability and price," said Conover. "But as the Web becomes more mission critical to small businesses, unreliable web hosting has become unacceptable. So PowerPAQ Networks set out to create a high-performance and cost-effective product offering."

The PowerPAQ Hosting Architecture includes:

Redundant Firewalls for added security Load Balancers that route traffic and prioritize network packets Multiple Web server arrays that ensure that a Web site keeps running even if a server fails Multiple Network Attached Storage units and Data Backup systems

Part of PowerPAQ Networks' Hosting Architecture includes proactive server management tools, designed to optimize the performance of each shared hosting Web site.

Beginning immediately, PowerPAQ Networks is offering web hosting available on Linux servers with pricing starting as low as $19.95 a month.

Resellers agree. Website development and eMarketing consultant Cliff Grant, of eMarketing West, said he insists all his clients host their Web sites with PowerPAQ Networks. "As a Web developer, selecting a hosting provider is serious business. I count on PowerPAQ Networks' commitment to its customers and reputation for delivering superior products and service."

"PowerPAQ's 2 year investment in building and rolling out this Hosting Architecture is testament to their commitment to setting the standard and establishing themselves as a benchmark for quality web hosting." said Allen Veak, President of Makin-Hey Communications in Madison, Wisconsin.
