Wild West Domains launces API, now offers resellers custom branding

Reseller provider Wild West Domains, Inc., awarded No. 1 for "Largest Position Jump" by Name Intelligence, Inc., has implemented an Application Programming Interface (API) to allow its reseller customers the opportunity to provide all of Wild West Domains' products and services under their private resale brand.

"We developed our API with the reseller in mind," says Michael Zimmerman, vice president and general manager of Wild West Domains. "Our API provides resellers the freedom to merchandise a complete line of tools that make the reseller's site more profitable, while custom branding those tools so it keeps the customer on the reseller's Web site."

Utilizing the API, Wild West Domains reseller customers can offer a breadth of products to resell including: Domain Registration-resellers can provide the ability to easily and inexpensively register corporate and personal web addresses with ICANN. Private Domain Registration-offering domains registration without releasing personal information through Wild West Domains' affiliation with company Domains By Proxy. Traffic Blazer, a Web site optimization and search engine placement tool to drive traffic and increase online commerce. c-Site, a service that simplifies the process of registering a copyright with the U.S. Copyright Office. Domain Alert, a three-tier service to monitor changes to or backorder domains, and "PowerGrab" from more than 95,000 expiring names. StealthRayT, a file encryption tool that erases Internet tracks and includes Pop-up XploderT, a program that checks browser windows for unwanted pop-ups while allowing essential pop-ups, like security alerts, to appear.

Wild West Domains, a sister company of leading registrar GoDaddy.com, plans to include additional products in the API package in the coming months.
